Isabella Tam is a Hong Kong-based curator and previously worked for art institutions in Hong Kong, London and Edinburgh. Trained as an art historian, Isabella is interested in artistic production primarily in Hong Kong and East Asia. In her curatorial direction, her interest is in exploring unorthodox curatorial practices that negate the notion of international without compromising the cultural language that is unique to a place. She has curated contemporary art projects in Hong Kong, Canada and the UK, edited a monologue for the artist Stella Tang, and co-founded the Art Readers. She now serves as the Assistant Curator of M+, Museum for Visual Culture in Hong Kong.
